Recently, Sal mentioned that a drop point D'Allara is in the pipeline. Just wondering when it'll be hitting the shelves. With the other revisions to the D'Allara (slimmer scales, more accessible ball lock), I think it could become my new favorite (or, at least equally favorite) work knife (currently a Native). I've been looking at the Rescue line for a while, but frequently need some sort of pointed blade, so this should be perfect.

Sotyakr,
No pictures available yet. I'd say at least 6+ months away. Sal did state at one time he was carrying a proto of it. It should prove to be an interesting blade. I'm curious about access to the ball lock.

I don't know what it is, but every time I want to posts a pic I shouldn't post some filter mysteriously blurs it ... It's so odd since it looks great on my screen.
sorry - couldn't refuse -

Worker#9, it's a self-learning filter. After you posted the 'SQUINT EYE' method, it now has automaticaly censored itself...

I'm carrying the proto today. nice piece.
The model is scheduled for about 90-120 days.
Ted, do you have a pic from the Netherlands seminar? If so, you can post it. I don't have a pic, just the proto, darn
BTW, It's not too shabby in Pakal grip as well. Probably our fastest opener.

Now, about what Sal said...

Thanks Sal! Hopefully, I can wait that long (guess I'm gonna have to...). In the meantime, a photo (from anyone) would be great!
