The more I look at it I'm for sure going to pass. I love blue but really prefer the plain Ti over the anodized blue. Plus I've yet to try a CRK so if anything I'll get a new 31 Sebenza instead.

As for a red st nicks version, you can’t anodize titanium red as far as I know. So it would have to be g10 or micarta or something.

I find the blue to be ugly personally. I think this looks like a less attractive version all around and I’d I would never have paid $400 for the original and so I’m certainly not going to for this.

It is amazing what FOMO marketing and hype can do. People didn’t want anything to do with them when they were substantially less expensive but tell them they can’t have it for a while and people are tripping over themselves to over pay for it. Amazing. If buying something in demand to show off is your thing then more power to you and bless knife joy for finding a way to get those people’s money. The slysz Bowie is SUPER over priced at $400. It’s not out of my price range for a knife per se. It is a super hard pass for me though.

I just looked at more pics of the knife joy version. Compared to the original the blade finish on the knife joy looks terrible in my opinion. I realize looks are subjective but this is a total down grade to me.

I handled the original years ago. The F&F was nice, especially the stonewash, but I did not like the blade shape and handle. I am still out... :)

Very cool if true. It would be awesome if every major retailer came out with their own versions. My preference would be micarta and Cruwear!

Oh, they went for a belt finish. One can remove the anodizing fairly easily, but not give it that smooth, awesome stonewash the original had. I can imagine some folks having tears in their eyes.
