Got my order in!

But didn't get an immediate confirmation email.

...and I shipped it to my nephew instead of myself. Hopefully they'll edit that for me.

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Got the text alert, immediately hit the link, and they were already OOS. Stupid.

This is so insanely frustrating. I get the text from BHQ and it's already sold out....

Dang. Had the alerts setup, and I was just looking this morning! Missed it in the 2 minutes from my text alert coming in. Too bad. Congrats to those that got one :)

Congrats indeed! I wasn't planning on going for this run. Much as I love the micarta. But I still check just to see how fast there going lol. I must of had in stock alerts set up on a good 10 different sites months ago cause I don't even remember doing it. To those who have gotten theirs or have one on the way I hope you enjoy it! It's definitely a awesome blade.

Man I really wanted this one. In stock alerts were too slow. Anyone know if there are other vendors that haven't released theirs yet?

For those that got one, congrats on the awesome knife! I know many of you, like me, have been waiting for this for over a year after not being able to nab the CruWear version. Enjoy!

Hi Eratus, LLTD, Neatknife, Mtbiker, Mr Meeks, MattyOomps, Ripx,

Welcome to our forum.

Sorry for the frustrations. I believe part of the issue is the recent increase in demand for Spyderco products. Most of these projects are started a year or two before they are released so quantities are "guessed" base on current demand at the time the project begins. We'll have to be more creative.

I cant get on the forums while at work since knife and gun websites are blocked and I missed another dealer drop. BHQ's text came in at 1:29 which was too late anyway.
This whole release is noting but a steaming pile of frustration.
Glad the bots are getting theirs

Same. Text alerts seem to be a waste.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Thanks for the explanation Sal. Love you and your son's knives/designs. Most recent Spyderco I've bought was the Shaman and I've absolutely fell in love with it ever since. It's perfect in every way IMO. Hasn't left my pocket since. Gonna be a while before anything kicks it out I think.

Thank you for producing such quality knives. Proud to have as many Spyderco blades as I do.

Maybe I'll grab this Z-Wear Shaman later this month depending on how high the prices are. Wish something could be done about the people buying a bunch using bots and then flipping them all. But I guess there's really nothing that can be done. Fair is fair. Sometimes you get lucky and snatch the sprint run you've been waiting for and sometimes you don't aye. I've got many of the ones I wanted so I I can't complain.

I don't understand why this specific knife was released this way, I've never had a problem getting any other sprint run. maybe had to wait in a queue for a few minutes while the site crashes but atleast I knew exactly when the knife was going to be released.

Dealer exclusives are usually announced before day of sale. Sprints are dropped by dealers unannounced.
