Request for pictures

#1

Post by UtahSpyder »

I see that you can request pictures (at least it seems so).

I wondered if anyone would mind posting a few pictures of a Salsa next to a Dodo?

I just would like to compare a few things.

Hey, it's me, Mr. Blade Markings here.

First, nice photos. Second, are the blade and tang markings on the Dodo screen printed on or stamped? They look printed to me but I've never seen a Dodo in person.

If they're printed on, how durable is the printing?

WOW!!!

Great pictures. Thanks ! :D

I had no idea that the Dodo was so small. I just figured it would be larger than the Salsa by quite a bit.

I also wonder about the Purple Salsa. I didn't know they made a purple one??

Purple Salsa

#11

Post by UK KEN »

Wouter

The Salsa is meant to be blue I think  it might be my lighting but the Dodo came out in "true blue" so I don't quite know what happened there! It may well be as a result of the Salsa having a more reflective surface and me using blue "daylight lamps"! That's the only explanation I can offer.

Ken :D

On the other hand I might have the only purple one in the UNIVERSE! :D

Just got in.

What are these questions about a purple Salsa?
Did they not make one?

I see them advertised on ebay, are these dealers misrepresenting?

Just curious.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

There was a batch or so of the blue alum salsas that turned out purple. My local had a few of em, never grabbed one.

Worker, when I first saw the Dodo I knew I would never buy one. After reading so much good info here I decided I would give it a try. The handle fits my hand perfectly. Great ergos, SV30 and I like the fact it came in black or blue. Opening, its one of the smoothest knives I have. I can now see why most everyone really loves this knife. I'm sure I'm going to love it too. Looking forward to using this one a lot.
