New Graham and Razorsharp. I have had no problems with them. :)

I have had trouble with East County guns on Ebay. I am currently having problems with Flames-n-knives.

You're not the first to experience that recently. Somethings up, ya think?

As far as New Graham, although I've never used them yet, I will say I've never seen a dealer so beloved by it's customers. It's not just here on the SpyderForums, but EVERY knife forum. And I'm thinking, I've never seen a negative comment either, not one. That's some record! I hope to use them in the near future. I'm sure they are proud of the hard won reputation.

OK New Graham, you can send the knife you promised for saying that to..... :D (JUST TEASING) :D

spyderknut,

I've bought from flams-n-knives before. What trouble are you having?
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

I only got three out of 4 knives I ordered and now get no response despite 4 or 5 emails over the past week!

I'd bet they get a ton of e-mail each week with the volume of sales they have. Maybe a call would be in order. It's been just recently that folks started experiencing problems....wrong orders, overdue shipping. Could be something as simple as new employees in the shipping area.

I looked earlier and again now. I cannot find a phone number listed on either their website nor on their Ebay listings. I may have overlooked it. If anyone knows a number for F-n-K, please let me know.

Spyderknut,

No phone number but maybe posting on the F&K forum could help.

I bought my first knife from NGK the other day, a Spyderco Native. I couldn't believe how fast it got to me. I ordered it off of there website on Sunday night and it arrived on Wednesday morning. I like how they give you a choice other then using UPS also, as I prefer using the USPS. I highly recommend them.

I've ordered from NGK twice so far, and now I'm regretting not ordering from them on my most recent purchase. I decided to buy from an ebay merchant to save a few dollars, and now after 2 weeks I haven't received the item or any response from the seller, autoparts44. I ordered a Sharpmaker with video for about $10 less than NGK sells them for, but I can say now that the $10 extra is more than made up for by the prompt shipping and excellent customer service...

john jensen, NGK, and knifesite.com are my favorites. knifesite.com tells you how many of each knife are in their inventory... comes in handy when you're trying to decide when exactly to buy a knife that may not be around too much longer...

What's that they say about a name, Dave? You should have just bought tires from old autoparts44 and left it at that.

Steve Hamilton of Flames-n-knives replied to me today admitting fault and apologized for the delay in returning my emails. I'll let you know when the missing knife (Gunting trainer) arrives.

I only ordered from them once. It's good to know he returned your email.

Hope it turns out well for you.

NGK is #1, but I've also had good dealings with knivesplus.com and knifeworks.com.

For about a year, though, the vast majority of my purchases have been from the local knife store, River's Edge in Columbus, Ohio. Great guys.

Here's some of the one's I've used -

http://www.BestKnives.com

http://www.NewGraham.com

http://www.JohnFJensen.com

http://www.KnifeCenter.com

Not necessarily in that order ; for some good prices also check out Mike
@ BestKnives.com. Straying away from :spyder: a bit I once bought a
Microtech CE Kestrel for $99.95 ( when he had that sale ).

New Graham has a nice touch with that band aid dispenser they throw in
( you'll need them, says the dispenser :D )

AET :D

http://www.wolfster.de , Germany. Great shopkeeper, good prices for Europe (knife prices in Belgium and the Netherlands are HORRIBLE). But I want Balisongs too, and for that I have to go to France :( .
