Interesting that it's a Cutlery Shoppe Exclusive. I wonder if it's a distributor exclusive and they just bought the whole run.

None the less, I'll be picking one up.

Nice! I would have liked to see them use XHP to go along with some of their other exclusives, but cool nonetheless. Will be grabbing a few. Thanks Cutlery Shoppe! One of my favorite dealers!!

Thanks! Feels like a lot for a vg-10 dragonfly, but I know I'm gonna pay it anyhow. I've definitely been hoping for a GITD dragonfly.

Ugghh...been waiting a long time for another Dragonfly sprint or exclusive and then we get more bland VG-10, and glow in the dark scales, which honestly makes no sense to me. Do people seek out a knife in pitch black and then intend on actually using it in the pitch black??

I think it would help keep your knife from being mislaid or lost when working in a low-light environment.

I'm not going to buy it, but I think it looks kinda cute on the Dragonfly. :)

For me, I just like the novelty of glow in the dark scales. :) I like VG-10 too, so no qualms there. :spyder:

I've actually been in that situation with some regularity. Including today.

I pretty much always have a flashlight on me, but sometimes it's easier to work by feel because I need my other hand for some other part of the job I'm doing.

I'll buy one of these, if I can get into the drop in time.

Thanks for sharing that Tom, never thought of knife use that way. I always think I'd like to see what I'm cutting, as well as my knife...but everyone's job is different. That makes sense to me now. Plus my job is so OSHA crazy, it's drilled into my mind, safety first but there are clearly exceptions.

This is great! I love that GITD. I'm glad it does not have blotches all over it.

Agreed. Will be adding this to my Delica and Ladybug GITD models.

I just wish they’d add some slight color. Out in the daylight the color looks like a grub worm. Hahahaha!

Ha, I don't mind it. But I think a blue GITD would be popular. Probably even more popular than this.

VG-10 is great - but I’m not going to shell out for handle. I have plenty of glow in the dark fishing iron, I don’t need a knife.

XHP, S35VN, or some other usable grade steel would get my attention though.
