Stretch can be a noun as well.

Re: Stretched Stretch - continued from Straight spine thread
I am pretty excited about this knife. I think this is closest thing to backlock Military as we can get.
But as usual, I'll wait until it is released, hopefully it will be in January Reveal.

Be still my beating heart.
My Ivory SSS has been in my shorts all day coincidentally and I kept thinking how I can't wait for the XL version and then the wait for a Cruwear exclusive. It is pretty amazing to hear we may go straight to Cruwear on this one! I wonder if they will use Gray FRN or a new color? I was admiring how the Ivory blends in nicely with my light stone colored khaki shorts, and was thinking a light colored khaki FRN would be a great color for khaki shorts wearers who prefer discretion.
I hope its not too much to ask for a TiCN coated option as well? :D I was really excited to see the Pink Delica and Manbug Wharrnie offered in both options, so I am hoping it is a sign of things to come.

Backlock- AND FRN- (I assume) "Military"... :)

Re: Stretched Stretch - continued from Straight spine thread
I had the same thought today while carrying my Ivory SSS. This knife will be epic. Even more so with the Cruwear. Maybe we will even see a Cru-carta sprint in the future!! There was a G10 Stretch, so a Cru-carta Super Stretch seems not entirely out of the realm of possibility.
I wonder if the regular Straight Spine Stretch will then go full production in Cruwear at the same time?

I've had a lot of Stretches go my way for good deals, especially the ZDP versions, but I just couldn't get around the blade hump.
Looking forward to a prototype design of this newish knife. :)

Not sure if the handle material was discussed. I would love FRN, but maybe this will be G10. Don't know.

Re: Stretched Stretch - continued from Straight spine thread
So exciting to hear that this may be going to production in Cruwear! I absolutely love my SS Stretch. And I’ve really been in the market for a larger knife. So this fits the bill perfectly and will be my first Cruwear knife.
Re: Stretched Stretch - continued from Straight spine thread
Could be very well in G10, since this is the more cost effective way to test the market response... FRN (molds!) could follow if the model sells well (which sadly does not have to be the case necessarely with such large folders)

Re: Stretched Stretch - continued from Straight spine thread
Hard to tell. Last Spydercos from Japan were all FRN, so this might be as well. But I am fine with both.

Re: Stretched Stretch - continued from Straight spine thread
This is all very interesting! I did get a SSS, and I'm definitely interested in the 4" version, especially in production cruwear.steelcity16 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 10:30 pm
