Does Spyderco offer any in house sharpening service? If so is there any information anywhere on this site about the services offered? Thanks.

Yes they do.

It's $5 (which covers the cost of return shipping) to send it in and have it sharpened.

Not sure where it says it on the site. But it says so in the catalog.

You can download the Catalog here :)

Cheers,

But quite frankly, you are much better off, buying a Sharpmaker. A one time investment of $40, and you are able to keep your Spydies hairpopping without effort, especially if you start with a factory edge. If you Spydie is heavily used, I would advise to sent it back for sharpening first and then continue to use the Sharpmaker.

How does one go about getting a printed catalog? Is that sharpmaker just for Spydies or for all knives? I'd also really like one of those Spyderco T-shirts in that catalog but don't see it listed for sale on this website.

The other option is to buy a couple of benchstones from spyderco and learn how to sharpen the old fashion way. :D
