I wouldn't mind one as a keychain knife if they would use a supersteel blade and a newer/better handle.
The Meerkat handle is awesome, why would you want to change it? The only thing I would say is I sometimes see Meerkats on eBay that are missing their handles. I think they may be prone to handle failure. Dunno, never seen that on other FRN models.

Screw attachment of the handles would be an improvement I guess. Would enable people to customize.

One of my favorite models has always been the C41 Native GPI with the Blue Inlay:

It’s such a rare one, along with the Blue Inlaid Vesuvius...Both are too rare to carry for me! I’m still on the hunt for the Root Beer Inlaid Native...

The G-10 on it is super grippy, and I am a huge CPM 440V fan... Such as on the Lil’ Temp Rhino... Starmate and Military...

I’ll keep daydreaming about my favorites. So many to geek out on!

Bi-Fold (C108P). I am not sure how many were ever released since it was a restricted model. I did manage to pick one up many years ago. With it's spring hinged action, this might be the most interesting knife I will ever own.

Interesting selections>> especially the Breeden Captain C-111 and the Breeden Rescue. Because I believe both models would have sold way, way more than they did had they offered both of those in Spyderedge. Spyderco's own RESCUE models are almost all SE and most other RESCUE type knives I see are as well.

The Captain with the inner arch part in full SE I do believe would have been a blockbuster on the sales charts. There were just some models in the past 10 to 12 years that it would have been another story all together had they offered them in Spyderedge.

Also I've often wondered how many more Poliwog models they would have sold if the handle had been made of titanium?

Wouldn't have made much differnce i think. It's a "black or white" model. You like it or don't :)
I didn't until i got the chance to handle one and found it very ergonomic.

There are some unique things about Eric Glesser's designs that I really like. The Dodo is still one that I'm amazed with. It's kind of like the Poliwog in that it is deceiving. To look at it you wouldn't think it to be as versatile as it is. Both are his designs and both are misunderstood by many.

Another obscure short bladed model that I've always liked but they are extremely hard to come by. I'm speaking of the SPUR model from back in the late 90s. It's another small bladed unit that is quite handy.

On a knife like that, ramping the cost up pushes my into the “nope” camp. I don’t like smooth metallic handles.

Wouldn’t call it obscure but would love to have a Navaja or see a Lil Navaja made
