Here is mine. This is a first edition, pre-Gerber Rolox. I have forgotten the model name. It is a lock back but the blade rocks up and comes out of the front. It is a pretty little knife.
It is one hand opening but requires two hands to close.

I’d say that amputation knife is pretty unusual. I hope you’ve never used it

These are some old pics but you get the idea. I was told this is a "paratrooper knife" but you know how knife names go, so much of it is hype and sales pitch. It's weird how it opens and closes though.
I’ve never been able to post pics, but mine is the Kershaw Double Cross. It’s a wood-handled, 2-blade traditional pocketknife with a clip point main blade, and a Wharncliffe secondary blade on the opposite end. The blades have both traditional nail nicks as well as thumb studs, and instead of having backsprings, the blades are held open with a dual liner lock, and held closed with the ball detents. It’s beautifully made in Japan, but it was discontinued sometime ago.
The guy who posted this video misnamed the clip point as a drop point, and the Wharncliffe as a sheepsfoot, but you get the idea.
He served in the navy, and was on a LST the majority of the time. He also said he ran the Higgins boats up to the beach’s on many occasions. He was in Europe the hole time.

It is a modern copy of one version of a WW2 German paratroopers knife. The other version is a gravity knife. I'd post pictures but nothing I ever post works here.

I had one of those. It was a good knife. I stupidly let it get away.

Those are some cool knives. I really like that OSS Sleeve Dagger. The WW2 fighting knife is pretty awesome too.
That German Paratrooper knife is very interesting.

COBRA!!!!
I hear ya homie!!! A little Marion Cobretti action there Rickster :D
Hahah, that's my "just in case" knife that I keep in my truck. Wouldn't work against someone carrying a gun, but would likely scare off any other person attempting harm/road rage/etc.
