So you are the one that outbid me for the beltbuckle.
Now I'm thinking of getting something like that engraved.

Special thanks to Bill W. for all of his inspiration and guidance.

I got it with a BIN for $34.00 :) there were no other bids on it so you may have been on a different buckle. ;)

Rob may cry if he reads that. :p I picked mine up about a year ago Ken for about the same price you paid for yours. Keep meaning to visit the local tack shops and see if one of them has a nice belt I can put it on. Never did find out what "the story" on them is.

True  The last one I've seen seemed way over priced...

It would really be interesting what Spyderco says about these. Joyce?

Thats an awesome belt buckle! I just have a regular small belt buckle, but if I wanted a big oval one it'd have to be that one.

Kev, it's really not that big, at least not compared to some of Harley buckles I've seen, not to mention "rodeo" buckles. It's just a hair under 2" high X 3" wide.

I guess it's not that big then. Speaking of large belt buckles, I should get a picture of the one my dad made from a CAT logo that's welded onto CAT buckets.

Nice find Ken, I'm jealous. My prize possession used to be one of the blue mugs which are no longer available. Unfortuantely my wife broke the handle off it last weekend :( . We are still married BTW :) . I was once offered a tie by a :spyder: rep but I lost his number. I have one of the original caps with a small gold bug on the back and front. It used to be blue but has now faded to a very light grey.

I wonder why Spyderco doesn't produce more of these types of items on an ongoing basis

Good question David. You know, if I had to choose between the two, I would prefer a Spyderco Forum belt buckle to the Spyderco Forum shirt discussed in an earlier thread. Now, that would be really cool :D . How about a sprint run on belt buckles :D .

what would be nice would be having a belt buckle made to fit my belt... 1.75" nylon, one of my extras from cadets. My sister thiefed the old one(I wore the brass coating off, had a nice silver going... another year and this one might be the same eventually.

I would like to see Spyderco make a belt buckle just in the shape of the spider like the Spyderco logo. in stailess steel.

Glad you dragged this thread up from the depths of the forums. I had never seen the Spyderco belt buckle, nor even heard of their existence. While I'm more into subdued buckles, I do have to admit that this is kind of cool. Your suggestion for just the Spyder would look great.
