Scorpius - in G10 and/or with black blade?

I love my SS Scorpius. :spyder:

I would love to be able to buy another Scorpius but with G10 handles and maybe a choice of a black blade.

What do you think. Lost cause? Am I the only one that likes this knife so much :D ?

Cheers,

Aloha FoM!!!

As you already know, the Scorpious was one of the chosen few :spyder: 's that I was ready to purchase while I was on Oahu. NOW, had the scales been made of G10, I'd have done a Scorpious review instead of a Dodo review! ;) The Scorpious fit my hand better than my Dodo, but years of doing what is now called "MBC" with the likes of the SS Police, SS Delica, and most recent, my SS Karambit had prevented me from buying it.

I dunno if it's just me, but when practicing "fan hitting" scenarios, or just practicing the "draw", my hands get sweaty. I have my SS Karambit rigged for a left hander, but I carry it in right pocket, opening it with my ring finger. After a while, the SS gets VERY slickery!!!

Black blade...to be honest, i am not a fan of the colored blades. However, I am a fan of G10. :D I think making a G10 Scorpious, or even an FRN version, OR even using The Deacon's CFRN ;) would be great!!!

God bless

How about SS with G-10 insets? Something that accentuates the handle shape.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

While everyone else is wishing, here's mine. Drilled and tapped for LH carry ala the Stretch. I really want to like this knife; I love SS handles, but they're too slippery for (non-kinetic) LH opening without the clip on the correct side.

I'm easy. I'll take it in either G10 or CF - drilled and tapped for left hand carry - with my initials on the clip and my family crest engraved on the blade. And, oh yeah, I'll need it by next Friday.
