Just received this in the mail yesterday. This will be my new work knife. New to the Manix 2 and really like it, the lock is a little stiff but I’m sure it will improve. Looking forward to trying out S110V, It’s my first knife in this steel.

Ughhh....here comes the nonstop onslaught of Para 3 LW's.

A great budget knife, but we all know what it is... A more simple, consumer friendly Para 3.

Let's not plaster this thread with these like we did the ikuchi.

I find it "nice"...its nothing to brag about, but a nice alternative to the standard G10. People will complain about weight, but I honestly dont see much of a difference.

If I had to choose between the 2 of these, at the price point...I'd go UKPK 9 out of 10 times. For me, personally...ukpk checks every box in this size category.

Sprints and exclusives could change things down the road though!

That's a beautiful edge. Did you freehand it?

Thanks! I reground the edge on a course stone then took it up to a DMT Fine polish. Got it hair popping sharp off the DMT, then gave it a few light passes with the sharpmaker fine rods, then stropped.

I usually leave my bevels course and my edges toothier, but I felt like doing something sifferent. I'll get some better pictures next time I go hiking. This is from testing the edge in my yard:

Not a chance. I will be plastering as soon as I get mine (along with the Ikuchi).

And the Lil’ Lum.

And the big Lum.

Stretch 1 in Hap 40 and Endura 4 in VG10.. normally I really don´t carry more than one folder, but today there will be a lot of cardboard boxes to cut. Good opportunity to compare my two favorite designs side to side once more ;)
