Another vote for that here!demoncase wrote: A Ladybug hawkbill in the same spec (Black LC200 and red FRN) would be very appreciated at Casa Demoncase

I like red and black together and think this would make a nice knife. I saw that one of the scale makers was offer red G10 scales for the PM2 so I ordered a set to put on my all black PM2. The color was similar to red used on the Never Summer Native and would've looked great. Unfortunately the scales were smooth and I wanted something with texture so I retuned them.Molle Ninja wrote:Red G10 and black DLC PM3 Sprint. Yes?
I'm not sure if the new Native Salt is the same as the Never Summer version in terms of all of the parts. The new one is a "salt" model so I'm assuming that all the parts are highly rust resistant or rust proof. I figured ti clip like on the other salts?KnickKnackCity wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 11:46 amWith the hype on the LC200N Native over the last month and Sal indicating it release on the horizon, I wonder if some of the newer forum memebers realize we technically have already had a N5LW Salt release?
I don’t have specifics but based on a couple of vague conversations with Sal and Eric, I believe there was a LOT of R&D that went into making the new Native a true “salt” knife. I think everything was considered and tested from hardware to lock components. I don’t know exactly how they solved all the issues and made the knife a true salt but I know for a fact they didn’t just slap an Lc200n blade in a Native LW and call it a Salt. I’m looking forward to getting one of these new Golden Salts and putting it through the ringer! :DABX2011 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 2:57 pmI'm not sure if the new Native Salt is the same as the Never Summer version in terms of all of the parts. Good call, ABX. I had forgotten that the salts came with titanium clips.
Thanks for chiming in Surfgringo. No doubt those two and the rest of their team has put in a ton of time and energy into making sure this one represents what we've come to expect from Golden.Surfingringo wrote: I don’t have specifics but based on a couple of vague conversations with Sal and Eric, I believe there was a LOT of R&D that went into making the new Native a true “salt” knife.
