There using the "as quenched" values on the spec sheet at the top.
Those aren't the tempered values. I'd expect to see 60-62rc from Spyderco
Thanks for the clarification - I was just repeating what I heard. It'd be nice to get HRC data from the horse's mouth, so to speak, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Spyderco was conservative with the hardness on their 4V here compared to the glass-scratching heat treatment on your latest 4V blade. Custom and production knifemaking are rather different beasts.
I'm happy to say I got my order in! Couldn't resist the color combo & opportunity to try a new tool steel. Also impressed with how St Nick's Knives handled this - their website performed admirably under the load and I appreciated the 1 per order limit.

You can't add 2 of them to your cart, but i am able to buy a second if you buy em separately. Not that i did cause i only need one. But people could abuse it.
I thought I read somewhere only one per address. They may cancel one or all your orders?
They only ever said "one per order". This still gives more people a chance to get in and doesn't only allow people with multiple addresses to order multiples. I like this system just fine.
