OD Green PM2?

This color combination is starting to grow on me. I'm thinking about trading in my all black PM2 for this one.

I agree that it has a really nice contrast (handel to the black blade)I love the G10's colour. It looks (here at least to me) like it is more blue than green. Is this a function of my monitors colour adjustment or is this the case when you hold it in your hand?

The light in that pic is throwing it a bit. The color is nice. Green olive, Maybe a shade lighter. Smooth action out the box too

I'm confused that this is an exclusive to outman, dlt seems to have rights to distribute, but it just popped up for pre order on blade hq?? Anyone know what's going on?

Now Knife Center has it?? Kinda makes it less special...spyderco clearly lists it as an exclusive on their website.

J B Outman is the distributor, they have the exclusive. DLT is the retailer. They choose or may get to choose how many they get. LIke the Red M390, they took all of them. They did NOT take all this OD green and DLC so it is available at other retailers that deal with J B Outman.

Exclusive means , in this instance, No other distributor can order it other than J B Outman.

It IS an exclusive. It is not full time production run for all to buy at every retailer etc


BTW I think its one of the best if not best looking PM2's I own and there is only one I dont have.

Actually, just reading even closer again on Spyderco's web site re products/pm2/ then looing at the 3 "exclusives" they have listed, only one uses the words "limited edition" i.e. limited production numbers.

There for, does that mean "exclusive" can be just exclusive to a distributor but not limited numbers wise? IM guesssing they order an initail batch and see how that sells and order more or not depending on results...

Anyone up to showing us a few shots of this knife's different moods? Please? I'm debating this (as my first PM2) or getting the Yojimbo 2...

Bump for anyone who missed this the first go around as it looks to be trickling back into stock at various places. This was/is a distributor exclusive and thus will be at various dealers including Knife Center and DLT Trading...

This is a great knife, one of my favorites! May not be the newest/fanciest steel available but it sure is a looker. Was actually my first of my 3 PM2's.

I like the colors. Id buy a DLC tool steel Para 3 or Military or Native in this combo. I still think they need to figure out a way to DLC coat the liners though on these compression lock models. It looks funky with the stainless lock tab sticking out like a sore thumb.

I was on the fence on this PM2 last time it was released. I didn't buy it and I've regretted it. Now it's out again and I'm back on the fence because there's just too many other knives dropping lately. Too many PM2s & Para 3s for me too. I know everybody loves them (I do too) but I'm quickly becoming over my limit. If this was a Native 5 I'd be all over it. I may still get one of these and sell my well-used PM2 blackout. We'll see if they're still available after the smoke clears at the end of this month.

I really like the colorway on this, but my PM2 has seen much less use since getting my shaman.

KC & DLT are both selling these. There may be some other dealers too. I could be wrong but I don't think they're going to sell out real fast. The SNK Para 3 is dropping this week and the DLT Trading 20CV PM2 next week. I think people will be focusing on those more than the OD Green PM2.

Yeah, I'm not even gonna try for the SNK Para 3. While I do like the color scheme, I don't have to have 4V and I'm pretty positive that they'll gone by Friday morning. If not I'll be very surprised.
