Ark fixed blade: What got added to the sheath?

Post by Knifestyle »

I have a female friend seeking a knife for jogging and everyday carry, I went to check on the ARK to gauge how it would work under her shirt...Now I see some kind of odd tab sticking out on the sheath? What is that? A clip, a larnyard hole, something to lock the knife into the sheath?

It is a lock, operated by a thumb tab, that keeps the knife safely in the sheath. I have this same configuration on another brand of neck knife and it works exceptionally well.
