Predictions for next discontinued model brought back from the dead

Post by SG89 »

What model that has been discontinued do you want brought back in sprint/exclusive/new generation form?

For me I would love a:
Sprint/Exclusive Jester- don't care if it's FRN or g10 and don't care about blade steel I just want a Jester :P
Cricket linerlock new generation- give it tan g10 scales :D
BladeHQ Exclusive Tim Zowada: Hap40 and natural g10

Some of the recent sprint run/exclusive/new generation discontinued models released/announced (Spyderco loves to resurrect Japanese-made models):
BladeHQ Lum Chinese Folder Hap40
BladeHQ Lum Tanto Folder Hap40
Baby Jess Horn
Shabaria
Meerkat Hap40
Calypso Jr Lightweight Superblue
Kopa Stainless
Spyderhawk H1 Orange
ATR 2
D'Allara 3

I'd like the Salsa to come back but only as an integral compression lock like the originals. If It's G10 on both sides with a comp lock just as a liner I'll pass on it just like I have the ATR 2. If the ATR would come back with a smooth scale on the clip side, or an all Ti version like the original I'd be all over it. Even better than either of those would be a Sage with Ti integral compression lock. Really, Spyderco could release any knife with a finger choil and an integral compression lock and I'd almost certainly buy it.

I would absolutely love to see the Sage 4 come back in a different configuration as long as wood handles were still there. Perhaps a Spyderbug Damascus bolster Ed. :)

I would still love to see an updated Rookie with k390! (Rookie 2)

Also, like the idea of a sprint run Junior or Jester.

I would love to see a sprint run rock lobster. This design has always caught my eye. But I have yet to hold one. Any color/material scales, any steel.
