Karambit

Post by tommyb »

I just purchased a Karambit with no markings on the blade and was wondering if that makes it special. Is it worth more, worth less or no diff?

Hi Tommy can u post a picture so we can see the knife, it might be genuine, but don't know if Spyderco made a "sterile" model of the Karambit. It could be a production "flaw" and then i would keep it as collectable.

Aloha!

I agree with my bro loki88...Odd in that it is sterile? Pics would be appreciated to help you, and it'd be the first EVER sterile :spyder: I have ever seen!
God bless!

Here are the requested pics. I have had a couple of dozen Spydercos including a Karambit and I don't doubt it's the real deal.

Thank you kindly for posting pics. Now I *have* to buy one.

Sh*t. Add one more to the must-have list.

Maybe a prototype?
The area around the screw which holds the clip looks different.

It seems occasionally a sterile one slips through. There were other posts on this forum about unmarked Spydies of different type. I don't know about value, they are definitely rare. Try to ask Joyce or Sal directly (with a different title....like "unmarked Karambit).
