Why is this steel used? I thought that this was inferior to ats-34, ats-55, and VG-10!
Less expensive knives have the better steel!

Also cut and paste this link to find out more about crucible steels http://www.crucibleservice.com/. BTW Spyderco was the first production knife manufacturer to use CPM440V.
