I would liked to hear what ARK owner think about it.
Thank you

Re: How good is the ARK?
Well, I'm obviously biased, but I'd have the same opinion, even if I wasn't so involved: the ARK is one of the two best neck knives I know. (The other being the CRKT Folts Minimalist.)
Now that the SE version is available, you can add excellent edge retention to the list of positive attributes.
Be aware that the ARK is SMALL. It's just big enough to get a good, secure grip on. It also is very thin, which makes it a delight to carry. If you want a super-light, very thin knife, it's a good choice

Mr. Shirley may be biased, but he's right. The ARK is a very good neck knife, particularly in SE (I have both). It's thin, it's light, and, for a small knife, affords a good, secure grip.
I will disagree with John about the CRKT Folts Minimalist, though. The custom version by Alan Folts is an excellent neck knife, but CRKT dropped the ball on the production version by pairing the design with budget steel.

Re: How good is the ARK?
I love mine! It never comes off, i sleep in it, shower, its always there when I need it. I will say the sheath scratches the blade pretty quickly, nothing that stops performance tho. I would reccomend serrated edge with the h1. Great little knife!!

Now if we can just get the blade variants that the Minimalist has..

Re: How good is the ARK?
I've owned one for a while now. I found it a mixed bag.
Things I like:
Materials (FRN + H1)
Weight (Incredibly light)
Things I don't like:
Size (I'd prefer one a bit bigger)
Blade shape (I prefer less belly on small knives)
Sheath (The retention isn't as good as I'd like, I can draw the knife without depressing the release tab, before or after my mods)
Re-sheathing (Something about the sheath, seems every time I try to put the Ark back in it, the tip catches on something. It never seems to want to slide back in the first try)
I ended up modding mine to give it a more useful blade shape for me. I also removed the spyderhole because it was placed exactly where I wanted to put my thumb. My Ark currently looks like this:

I was really enthusiastic about it when I first purchased it because I've wanted a small H1 neck knife for a while, but I've been carrying mine less and less as the months go on in favor of other small fixed blades.
I will say the design accomplishes what it set out to do. Those goals just so happen to not fully align with what I seek out of a general purpose EDC.

May you find peace in this life and the next.
