What was the last knife you carried before buying your first Spyderco?

I, too have come from the Buck camp. In fact, I have my 112 with me as I write. Knives come and go, but I always keep a few Bucks and Spydercos.

Buck trapper. The only lockbacks at the time were Buck 110 and switchblades.

It was either a Schrade or Case slipjoint most likely. There was also an old Pacific Cutlery Butterfly knife in the mix.

I carried a keychain SAK forever. I started looking at knives for my son when he was mowing lawns 4-5 years ago and ended up with a Kershaw Cryo for a few months -- then I bought a Domino instead... :D

I carried swiss army knives for a couple decade, then got into one handed opening folders around 2002-2004. I progressed from gas station knives, to a CRKT Carson flipper liner lock AUS8 knife, to a Spyderco Delica, then a Military.

The Military is when I felt like I had found the one. Every knife before that had something I disliked, but not the Military. It was perfect.
