We made the first run in S30 & black G-10 to leave options open.

From what I have seen of it with the saber grind and contoured scales it will be a dream to use in hard use. It looks to be a robust knife well suited to Cruwear. Sign me up for it!!!

This definitely looks like a knife that needs more than just a Sprint in Cruwear.. ;)
Should indeed make for an ultimate hard use Spydie.

I might pick one up in Cruwear, but this design just doesn’t really do much for me at the moment..

Probably gonna be another one of those you go, “a ha” when in hand. :D

My collection is crowded with Miltaries, Manixes, PM2’s in interesting steels, I would love to try a new model like this in Cruwear/3V.

Hope it’s a dark gray like the PM2 Cruwear... :)

Got mine today and it's a beast! This knife is made for hard use and it's going into my pocket tomorrow. I'd love to see a sprint run too. :)

For me, Shaman variations are jumping the gun. I don't even have the long-awaited original yet.

But, I am imagining AEB-L, so why not CruWear, too? And Sal's comment here does not discourage such imagining.

I wonder if the Shaman will become the next conveyance of "exotic" steels, like the PM2 has been, for me at least.

IMO grey is the ...greyest/most boring color, like ever. Foliage green please, if not black.
Of course just me personal biased view :)

OD green contoured g-10 CTS-PD1 steel stonewash. Just perfect. Stonewash pocket clip is perfect, would be nice in all the other models for CQI.

As soon as you get one you’ll be begging for a sprint. I like that this thread is getting the ball rolling early :D

Oh man, the light grey sprints are some of my favourite knives. Where as I can’t stand foliage green. Different strokes for different folks right? I guess Spyderco will just have to do both colours to satisfy us both.
Most recently acquired: Military 2, Paramilitary 2 Tanto x2, YoJUMBO, Swayback, Siren, DLC Yojimbo 2, Native Chief, Shaman S90V, Para 3 LW, Ikuchi, UKPK, Smock, SUBVERT, Amalgam, Para 3 CTS-XHP, Kapara, Paramilitary 2 M390

You're so right!
And i am looking forward to the coming variants, regardless of color or material :)
After all i have a few slabs of camel bone and tiger wood to remedy a knife that's totally off in my opinion ;)

I don't doubt you, LC. Between you and me (and Sal and Eric!), I like the roll of this ball.
