I think the fact that they are semi flexible and completely rounded lends to fewer hot spots as well as scratching of other surfaces while clipped. The only downside for me has been the fact that the movement is a double edged sword and it leads to wear in the scales as the wire flexes during use.abbazaba wrote:Ya I was surprised to see a landslide vote for the wire clip.
