Para 3 in Maldives... Lessons learnt

#1

Post by josemfuente »

Hi folks,

It's been a while since my last post. I am in Maldives enjoying a week with my wife. Of course, I brought my gear with me, which included my new favourite folder: the Para 3.

However, as we spent most of our time in the water (mostly snorkelling), my selected folder was not the best choice. Actually, it has not touched the salt water.I've learnt that a salt must be procured for my water operations. Lance, I should hace followed your example before, you wee absolutely right. Salt 2 in yellow/SE is my choice, but he Caribe will be assessed as well. As I plan to carry it laced yo my through a lanyard or something similar, what would be the best choice?

Have a nice summer!

I'd think any of the "Salt" Series would be good. Serrated edge H1 has the best edge retention of any Spyderco. I bet the Caribbeans are nice as well, though I have no personal experience with them. I Have used LC200N though, if you want a Plain edge, the LC200N Caribbean might be a good choice.
