My head is hurting thinking about all of the money I'm going to spend this year. Sal, let me just give you my checking account and routing numbers now.

That would be nice. But eight Para 3s plus eight aftermarket clips at $30/each plus eight $10 Torx kits each is kinda steep. Unnecessarily steep.

It looks like it will come down to Delica 4 vs. Mini Grip. I'm afraid that Mini Grip will be heavily favored in our part of the world.

Chap LW was an easy win.

The Para 3 is tempting, especially the Maxamet -- I handled the S30V one at a B&M and didn't notice problems with the clip. Usually the only thing that bothers me is if it's uncomfortable in hand in the grip you would use when cutting, and that does bother me some with the PM2 -- one reason I'm a Manix person.

But getting back to the Shaman -- I had no idea it would be so much like a Manix, and just a bit bigger, which is great! Also great that it's contoured! The pic does look kind of like a high hollow saber grind, but like Evil D says, probably just something about the picture. It's fine with me either way. If it's as comfortable in hand as the Manix or Native 5, it's a shoo-in must-have for me. I'm expecting it to be pretty pricey, so I'll try to wait for one with Cruwear, Maxamet, or S90V, hopefully a dark gray or black model (rather than getting the S30V and a more premium one :p ).

Anybody think it would be good to retain a little bit of a swedge, just as a tip of the hat to its Native lineage?

Note to self: Less is more.

This Supplement, following that Catalog?

Wow, just WOW!

For me, there is much to say "No" to, but I must have the long-awaited Shaman (I sure hope it does have that high hollow saber grind), one of the Caribbeans (leaning toward the PE leaf), and the Cru-Wear Para3 sprint (assuming no red loctite).

These three and a Doublestuff2, plus the Police4, the Manbug Salt, the 52100 PM2 sprint, and some backfills, will have to do it for me this calendar year. Actually, I haven't bought this many Spydies in a year for a long time.

Fortunately, the Maxamet PM2 is a production run, so if a Maxamet Manix2 Backlock sprint run does not materialize next year, I will at least have that steel in a package I enjoy. Or perhaps the Shaman's success will make a Maxamet Shaman sprint run a possibility next year...

That makes sense. Looks very much to be of the Native family line. I like it too.

Yeah, yeah... sure, sure... until the next one, haha!

Nah, that's normal. I have had some Putman scales sitting in a drawer for a few months waiting on a dlc para3 to drop :D

Manix Backlock
Darn Dao
Doublestuff2
Shaman
Cruwear Para3
One Eyed Jack

These are all of interest to me. Exciting news!!!! I have been anxious to see the doublestuff for a while now. Cant wait to pick one up.

Darn Dao is a thing of beauty and if I can get my hands on it I will use it hard.

My father would LOVE a One Eyed Jack.
