I'll be honest, most times I just don't give a duck anymore

But sometimes orange & black still tickle me in the right spots

Awesome "puppies" Dubbya - This pic, seeing him looking at me like that, I can already feel myself backing off...

(And very nice Manix too).

Reminds me of a story I saw posted about someone visiting a Chinese "click farm" where they "harvest" fake reviews...

Thank you, sir.

That is Mishka. He is only interested in food. He has stolen apples from hiker's packs and quickly woofed them to insure victory is his. That is as hostile as he gets.

Thanks for posting the terrific bird and dog pics!

I'm a bird nut (but not a lister) and could go on endlessly with pix and tales; also two rescue dogs, yin and yang.

gmhauy's RTH sure tore into that troll.

Spyderco QC continues to maintain a high standard, but the brand image and consumer perception is jeopardized by increasing market share of clones purchased by consumers both witting and unwitting.

thanks again for the photos.

I was standing in my kitchen this morning drinking tea and staring out the window when all four baby robins took their first flight. They went one right after the other and all flew off in different directions. I cannot believe I was standing there to see it!

I was at Home Depot today in the outdoor shrubbery section located in the parking lot. There were two birds very similar to this one and they took several dives at me until I left the area. I didn't get any pictures but It reminded of this thread. :D

That's amazing! I've had a couple swallow nests on my porch before, but never caught that first flight moment.

I had to look this guy up. It is an Indigo Bunting i believe. I wish I got a better pic but it was out in my apple tree yesterday.

Here it is at 4x zoom on the camera out the kitchen window.

Image

Here it is heavily cropped. It was so bright blue! Amazing!

Nice looking Indigo Bunting. Great color. Since this is Spyderco, I thought I'd share a pic of a rare California Lynx Spider I found on my front porch, the only one I have ever seen in person. Their vivid green and gold colors make them look like a kids toy or costume jewelry when you see them up close. And fun fact they spit venom if you get too close!

Peucetia viridans, the green lynx spider, is a bright-green lynx spider usually found on green plants. It is the largest North American species in the family Oxyopidae.
The female constructs one to five 2-centimeter (0.8 in) egg sacs in September and October, each containing 25 to 600 bright orange eggs, which she guards, usually hanging upside down from a sac and attacking everything that comes near. Remarkably, one of her means of defense is to squirt venom from her chelicerae, sometimes for a distance of about a foot (300 mm)

I am sort of afraid to ask; what do little birdies have to do with Spyderco knives? Your not using them for target practice are you?
