They've given a few signed/engraved knives out to the first people in line at the factory seconds sales, so it's by no means unprecedented. Since the OP got the knife from Eric while visiting the store, the probability is pretty high that it's authentic.

Yes he signed it while I was watching I really appreciate Erick for showing me around the store when he seen im huge knife fan and para 3 is in my pocket since than I like it same as delica but fits my hand little bit better

Yeah, the first two people in line at the seconds sales I attended got signed Native5s. I believe that the OPs knife was signed by Eric, but not by Erick....

I would have expected you to get the spelling correct since there is no K on your knife. :p :eek:

While I'm not arguing that Eric's signature on a blade isn't a valuable thing to have, it seems that if you can catch him on a good day at the SFO then you might get lucky too! Of course, now we're all going to head in there asking for Sal and Eric to engrave their sigs on blades for us! :)

As an aside, I got to meet Eric a month ago at the OKCA show and he was really awesome to talk to! I gave him a little ribbing on not coming onto the forum and chatting with us more! :D
