Relatively new collector (< 2 years) here. I just recently got a Lil' Lum with the Blue Nishijin handles (C205GFBLP), and it's just fantastic. The size and shape of the blade, profile of the knife, and of course the handles themselves are, to me, flawless. Anyway, I looked on the Spydiewiki and was disappointed to find no information on the Lil' Lum (http://www.spydiewiki.com/index.php?tit ... um_Chinese ). Can anyone tell me the year in which it was introduced? Also, while the Large Lum has been produced in many variants, as far as I can tell the Lil' Lum only exists in black handles with VG10 (production), and the aforementioned sprint run. Is that correct?
I've been meaning to get around to updating that page. The Lil' Lum in black G-10 with VG-10 was released almost exactly one year ago. The Blue Nishijin that you have (released in February) is the first and only variation so far.

Absolutely. I will probably get the production Lil' Lum next, then start looking at large Lums. So far the only place (besides Ebay & friends) that I can find the large Lum is National Knives, and just the pink one: http://www.nationalknives.com/spyderco- ... 10-handle/. So I guess that's where I'll start.
Got that page built now. I don't have the Lil' Lum Chinese yet (though I hope to pick up the Nishijin at some point), so no pictures on there at the moment, but I'll add some once I get a hold of one.

Agree, the spydie hole made the Lil' Lum a little too leaf shape for my taste. Gail Bradley didn't sink the hole for no small reason. Still want one though.

Just got the glass fiber handled C65. Quick question - on my knife, I notice the lanyard hole back spacer is finely threaded/machined, as opposed to being smooth. Does that sound right?

Actually, I notice my C143GPNP has the same machining on the lanyard hole back spacer. So I guess it's normal.
