Easy to find around the campsite/garage/basement/yard/woods. The attention grabbing safety orange also seems to ironically be more people friendly, probably because it looks like a tool. Semi-related, I don't understand why flashlights are mostly black.

Dang it.

I'm a sucker for orange knives. I have dragonfly and a Delica. Now a Manix 2 on the way.

I was doing so good. I haven't bought a knife since the Jade PM2. I bought two of them and guess what? I dyed one of them orange. Bwwwhaaaaaaa.

Hmm...I didn't realize they were priced so closely. That's good to hear. I guess it goes to show how much attention I give the FRN knives :o

Now, if this were an orange LW back lock, I'd pay $119 for it.

I've been waiting for this one! :D The S110v LW version is my most carried/ used knife. The brown KC exclusive came out great and it's one of my favorites as well. I'll be buying mine tomorrow morning first thing once I get paid. I like the satin version and will probably skip out on the dlc coated version depending on the hardware used.

Are these shipping now, or is this a preorder, the Facebook post about it was a bit ambiguous...

Thanks for the info, that's not a real hardship to wait until Monday :D

+2 LW backlock!

My S110V LW has in less than two weeks become my preferred edc, and am just about ready to pick up another M2 LW. I'm torn between the brown KC version, and this CS safety orange. It would've been a no brainer if the CS was S110V for the increased corrosion resistance. Argh!

Love my S110V LW as well as my backlock, would've gotten the brown excl. but they stopped shipping to other adresses than where your cc is registered if you're an int. customer (and have been for years) so I couldn't get it awhile back. Gonna be too expensive with shipping and import.
The best of both worlds would be great! Right now the Stretch 2 is on it's way for competition as a nice LW backlocking EDC.
Will wait with getting a new LW Manix until there is one with backlock.

I think you'll be hard pressed to stain S90V. It's equal to or greater than 440C in the corrosion resistance department.

+100. I got a wrap of glow in the dark tape and put it around my bedside flashlight, and I can't believe how much it's helped it's utility.

I go with bright orange as my preferred handle color for a backcountry knife, to prevent misplacing it. It's saved me a couple times--not a huge number but enough that it's worthwhile.
