I appreciate the way the many different steel look plain, I appreciate a lot of different handle and blade finish combos. And I REALLY like the way black blades look, especially with the blue handles. Have you ever seen any of the USN H1 black blade hawkbill ladybugs? They look awesome. I like the way a black blade looks after it's been used for a year or 2 as the black wears off the edges, I'll take a scratched up black blade over a scratched up plain blade any day.

I think that blackwashed would be even better in that case. ;)

Spyderco should release knives with MoonGlow side scales that are not dealer exclusives or even sprint runs.
So Sal should abandon his principles and flush his integrity down the toilet just for you?
If principles and integrity are standing in the way of success then yes.

This is some solid advice right here.

Nevermind that those principles and integrity are what got Spyderco here in the first place. Spyderco sure as **** wasn't put on the map because of moon glow scales.
And here I thought that it was because of people giving Spyderco their money but what do I know?

You can talk all day long about your integrity and your principles but all that means jack if you are not successful.
A large part of why I admire Sal Glesser and Spyderco is because he/they understand that "success" cannot be measured by money alone. To live with honor while serving one's fellow man is a key aspect of a truly successful life. Such qualities must be earned; they cannot be purchased with money.

I really love Dragonfly and the while I wouldn't mind seeing a tougher steel in the Dragonfly I'd rather have one with a handle finish that doesn't shred the pocket of my pants. Imho buying a Dragonfly with some smooth titanium handles would be cheaper in the long run.

BTW the SS version is not an option because of weight and the lack of screws.
