My first Spyderco was a Caly 3.5 in VG10 with G10 scales and I love it. A Caly 3 would be a wonderful addition to my collection.

A lightweight Caly 3 in VG-10 would be wonderful. Would it be pinned or screw-together?

Ha, I was going to ask the same, but figured it was a bit too early before we first attained a full resounding unanimous YES. :p

But, then on top of the pin vs scew construction, I wonder, would the FRN like a UKPK, or maybe like the old Calypso Jr??
Going back to Caly.

I'd really like to see a lightweight Caly 3 in VG10. Semantics really but I'd prefer a locking UKPK because of the thinner blade stock. The Native is already the choiled 3 inch blade with 3mm stock, thinner stock for the C3 LWT / locking UKPK please.

Another yes please for the lightweight here! Ever since picking up a Native 5 LW and seeing how well it works I've hoped the Caly 3 would go the same way.

+1

Even though they're slightly different, to me the UKPK kind of *is* a LW Caly 3...and for that reason, the 110v UKPK is the #1 item on my want list currently.

Is the pope catholic? ... :p

Mr. Glesser you would make me very happy! If possible I ask for two lightweight variants, VG-10 with wire clips, any bright color like green or orange or blue (not the boring black/grey/brown) and fish scale pattern on FRN like on the Calypso Jr. : Caly 3 and even more desired Caly 3.5.

This would be so great, a really piece from Spyderco design as it should be!

I have been preferring frn over g10 recently after exclusively carrying the Delica over the past 2-3 months.

A Caly 3.5 in Gray Frn/VG10 may be my last knife purchase for a whiiiiille. I'd buy multiples too.

Be pretty cool if the lite weight had fish scale texturing like the Caly Jr. :)

:o That is true, I may have been a little over-zealous, lol.

If we can get screw-together and the old fish-scale FRN pattern, I would be all over this like crazy! :D
