Spyderco s110v blade black handle

#1

Post by Luskar »

I'm looking for a folding knife with a plain edge s110v blade and a black handle, but all the knives on the product list with s110v blades have dark blue/purple handles. I saw a few s110v native 5's but I'm not wanting a serrated edge. Where can I find this knife I'm looking for?

I don't think a production knife exists in black yet.

You'll need to swap blades/scales or dye the scales black.

There are no Native 5 S110V knives with serrated edge.

If you can find one of the old Native 5 S110V CFs, that would probably be your best bet

I agree. Buy the knife you want, and dye the scales black! I'm usually not one to mod my production knives, mostly cuz I don't trust myself, but there can't be an easier color to achieve than black! And the dye is so cheap and easy to do, I think this is a no brainer.

I for one prefer my FRN to be ASCOB (any solid color other than black). I love the blue on the LW Native, and it is not blurple like the G10

This would be the way to go, in my case I wanted a dark blue so I RIT dyed the scales with Royal Blue powdered dye and now they are a dark blue instead of the original burple. Dyeing scales to black would be pretty easy.
