Hadn't heard of that place before. That's all I need is another place to look for Spydies. :)

Nice find on the VG10 Stretch! Seems like several folks have mentioned wanting to find one of those.

Thanks for the tips, Spydergirl. I'd never been there either and I love (I first typo'd "live" :) ) to browse through the stock of unfamiliar places, looking for disco'ed stuff and new old stock.

I'm assuming this question is allowed, but has anyone purchased from wylaco? I came across their site via Google and some of their prices are insanely low. I checked on spyderco.com using their home office address and they are listed as a dealer, but their prices are making me feel like I'm missing something.

Looks like a lot of out of stock spydies on that site, especially the good discontinued stuff.

When I checked that site (wylaco) and saw some HAP40's still and two different dodos, I almost went on a quick buying spree! Come to find out most of what they have listed is out of stock. Still some good prices on a few things that are in stock though, like the Air! Nice find.

Yeah I looked through a little more and see what you're saying, a lot is out of stock right now. But that sage 1 and military is going to get me in trouble with the boss lady!

You almost had me running for the Debit card for a minute there. I found several old models I'd like to have. Then I started clicking on some of them and realized they're out of stock. :(

Good deal on the Sage 1 and Military though!

Definitely! And it's no wonder the pm2's, sage 2, and others are out of stock cause those are absolute steals! I may have to pick up the sage 1 if they're still in stock this weekend, and I'm going to be watching for the sage 2 to be back in stock as well.

I noticed that at least some of their retail prices aren't current. So I have the feeling that when/if the Sage 2 comes back in stock their new price will be MAP which is $179.97.

Another Groupon coupon

#852

Post by DougC-3 »

Groupon.com code = OFF -- This may not work if you don't sign up with them and/or don't receive the email offer, but just in case, for me, they have $15 off $60 and $30 off $100 for two days with the code: OFF. If you go there and search "spyderco" it will turn up over 50 knives. They do have a shipping charge, ~$5.00 IIRC.

I'm so weak. I finally caved in and ordered a pink Lum. Thank you, Spydergirl.
They are still in stock for $79.95 at Knifecenter.
It's for a worthy cause. Part of the proceeds support the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization.

It looks like a few of the discoed knives are on sale on KC. If I had more funds at the moment i would pick up a foundry. SpydK for 29.99!
