Dragonfly molded pocket clip

I'm wanting to know if end tip of the integral molded pocket clip on the old dragonfly's contacts the frame or if there is a little gap?

Everyone I've ever seen has a gap, but they all have been used and the integral clips tend to bend out a little after use/carry, so I'm wondering if the clip tip contacts the frame when new or that gap is there on a new/unused one?

Hey Mister X,
The one I have is in like new shape, and has not been carried that much. There is a small gap between the frame and clip.
