Native 5 fans rejoice, I'm seeing the first Collectors Club version of this on eBay so the rest shouldn't be too far behind!

Cheers, Radioactive :)

I might have to get one of these!! It's a tough call for me between the blurple G10 or blue FRN LW .

I love my Natives, but I will pass on this. I still have four NIB S110V Natives and Blurple is one of my least favorite colors.

I was thinking of the same comparison. Then I read that with the FRN version, when carried tip-up, the clip doesn't line up well with the smooth section of handle scale, making for a rough pocket insertion/draw. So I would choose the Blurple.

Interesting this one is a little more expensive than the Manix2, wonder why? :spyder:

Base price of Native 5 is much higher. Actually mark-up over base model seems to be the best deal compared to Manix2 and Para2.

I have the regular Native in both G10 & FRN and I like both. That's why I'm having a hard time deciding which S110V version to get.

My guess would be the tighter tolerances on the backlock for N5. I remember reading somewhere in another thread that they're holding it at 10,000th of an inch.

According to USPS tracking, mine arrived at my mailbox about 30 minutes after I left for work this morning. Yeah, I have more Natives than I can count, and I haven't carried them all that much recently, but I like them enough I didn't want to have a "hole" in the lineup, didn't want to miss out on this one.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

Holy crap. If that is true, that is amazing. The N5 is the only knife that I think the Blurple G10 looks good on. I don't care for it on any of the others.

I just got mine, the f&f is superb. This knife is perfect in every way and speaks to the talent of the people who build these blades in Colorado. For me, the decision to get a blurple was easy. I was lucky enough to get the cf sprint run. When the dust settled and I saw how much they were selling for on the secondary market and being limited to 800 pieces, I quietly put it away and kept the standard g-10 s35vn in rotation. I missed out on the forum knife and when the standard lightweight came out I got one...it left me wanting more, not to say that it doesn't have a place for my purposes...it wasn't the feel of what I have become to enjoy of the flagship model of Spyderco and I yearned to get my hands on an "every day" Native in G-10 with s110v steel. I have not added a blue lightweight to my collection as of yet as I have been focused on sprints and exclusives of all the other great models that have been released but who knows. Next will be the 40th and the cf fluted...I can't wait!

Is what I read about the clip true or is it a non-issue?
