Thanks -- I thought yours were great. It's interesting how some of these G10 colors vary depending on how the light hits them. I may try to do some more later that show the color better than these I just posted.

Got mine too. Amazing. My first Millie. If they have all been this nice then I have been missing out. One question though for those who are familiar with these. Are the grinds different from one side to the other? On one side it is very narrow edge and on the other it is about 25 % wider. Is that normal? If not then my opinion will take a a bit of a dive.

The colour of the G10 is certainly interesting! It's looks almost like a dark teal to me.

Its not uncommon with hand grinding, I've received a few like that, what I do is work the shorter side over time until the bevels become even.

I love the color and to see the teal in it. I was thinking I only needed one Millie so I would have my representative piece and all, but after seeing how nice this is I am definitely not cancelling my carbon fiber 52100 version. I'm sold.

I've never tried that. I've run into this issue countless times, seems to happen a lot on Taichung knives. I'll have to try that. Thanks!

Mine showed up today, and it's fabulous! I was able to get the PM2 in 204P on a family vacation and one of the ones offered to Spyderco's employees that was not taken. And so these two now have special memories attached.

Quite happy to add this one! Thanks Spyderco and Knifeworks!

Awesome photos fellow forum members!! Just makes waiting for mine to arrive tomorrow seem so far away. Haha. I'll be sure to add my pics to the thread but I don't have the skills as some of you do.

The rounded tip on the new clip looks very nice.

Pretty sure Sal decided to lose the lame backspacer when he saw my Steve modded Millie. Will be expecting my royalties checks in the mail.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

If you want a very good axe check out this website: https://www.gransforsbruk.com/en/
I am well aware of them. They are quite popular. There are lots of good swedish axes. I am probably going with a Hults Bruk though. The Gransfors have gotten quite expensive.
Maybe it's expensive for an axe but it will last you a lifetime and you can hand it over to the next generation.

I own the Gränsfors Small Forest Axe and I'm very pleased with it's chopping ability.

Thanks Doug! Given upcoming Sprints and Exclusives, and with my plans, the Military is going to become far and away my most populous model. Which is obviously totally fine by me. :p

Got mine today. A little off center but super smooth and perfect lock up. The bade just drops when the lock bar is released. Excellent job Sypderco and Knifeworks on this exclusive!

On to the pics:

A little off-centered when closed.

Had to wear matching dark green shirt today to make the Milli feel at home and welcomed.

Why can't they line up the lettering with the straight line forward of the choil? Seki City does it all the time.

The lettering may be parallel to the back edge of the tang. On my older Left Hand Millie and PM1's the lettering is parallel to the grind line and, apparently, the back edge of the tang. On the newer ones, for whatever reason, the grind line has moved around some -- probably changes in the grinding equipment or technique. Just guessing. Also the techniques of stamping, etching, engraving, etc, have changed a lot over the years, so I presume the method of registering the knife and the imprinting device had to change too.
