Good knife to carry in a Hat?

#1

Post by Rayo »

Just received my carbon fiber dog tag. Fantastic in so many ways :). Although I may have little use for this little gem it is a perfect addition to my edc Tilley canvas Hat along with my mad money. (Hx of skin cancer) Tilley hats (Canada) and garments have secret pockets. The Dog Tag fits perfectly into the compartment in my hat. So..the next time there is a screaming needs for a very small blade, I will rip off my white hat and voila. Btw why has no one put up a side to side photo of the Dog Tag with a real Dog Tag. Go Spyderco.

That's a nice idea. I carry my CF Dog Tag on a paracord necklace.

What a great idea Rayo.
I have worn my old Tilley for several years and the Dog Tag should fit very nicely out of the way in the top compartment.
I had been thinking about getting the little Dog Tag. Now I have a reason to. ;)

I carry a ladybug in my coin pocket everyday. I really need to get a dog tag to put there.

First bras and now hats. I'm starting to get concerned about where you guys are going to carry a knife next

Is it time to resurrect Doc's thread about the *ahem* interesting places he's concealed knives? :p

I know this was a serious question ...but I could only come up with Mom's advise.
"Don't run with skizzers" (which meant knives hatchets chainsaws spoke shaves hiding knives in shoes/hats/gloves yada yada)" or you'll end up with it stuck somewhere unexpected and look like this fella"
