con: The lock could easily be broken
Pros: the drawers are easy to organize and are felt lined.

Very nice chest, I love the machinists chests.

Yes the lock can be broken, however, it will simply be carried away and broken at the thief's hideout. Get a safe. Even a small one will create work for a thief, and they don't want to work due to Time, and will move on to other things. Something I did before I had my safe was to buy a few cheap old junk rifles, clean them up take the firing pins out, and leave them out in plain sight as bait. Let them take that, and leave the snap on Rollaway. You get the idea.

We are living in bad times, and we must protect our hard earned valuable items and collections.

That is a good deal on that chest, I think I will go have a look at one, thanks for posting.

After reading the last few I started looking for a safe..found a decent one, but shipping almost doubled its price...found this one today..225 lbs empty, and bolted to the floor...I'll sleep a little better tonight.

Nothing special here. They get thrown (well maybe not actually thrown) into a drawer. They're only knives.

What is the small, black, linerlock knife in the right side of your fourth picture? It has a triangular thumb stud. I had one as a kid and loved it so much then that I recognized it instantly just now. thanks.

I just received a small bank vault from my father-in-law as a gift. It is roughly 2 foot square and weighs about ton lol. I will probably stow a few of the rare Spyderco models in this until I get a bigger gun vault. Which should be soon... :D

For my EDC rotation I have a small 3 drawer clear case that has worked well for me.

I have the Harbor Freight case but that is where I put my sheath making supplies and sharpening setup. I was allowed to use some shelves in the family room to set this up Image
