Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Thanks Hans and JasonC (welcome the the forum BTW!) :) I think everyone needs a little iron(wood) in their Spydie diet. The Native is a blade swap into a G10/SS liner model. So, not to photobomb this thread with more pics like that or anything, but here's a few more pics like that!
The 4 desert ironwood customs of mine on this page are all part of my standard EDC rotation. Steve Ketchen made the Domino, Southard and Dice scales from one stock piece, and the Native 5 scale set is originally from Cuscadi but Steve fixed and polished them up quite a bit (it was actually quite striking how much better he made them compared to what came from Germany initially). The third pic shows off their fancy "copper" ano'd Casey Lynch clips (you can really see the color nicely in the hole cutout), and the last pic shows off my new Sith Domino (its apprentice is being prepared at Steve Ketchen's shop now, stay tuned for those fun pics!). Cheers, Radioactive :)

I was motivated by the Favorite Steel poll, in which I voted for GIN-1, but it also made me "go fishin'" in my collection for something good to carry for a few days. A good old, NIB Native 1 PE in GIN-1. Solid, sharp as heck, ergonomic and classy! Yum!

It looks so much nicer in your pictures.
Hope it is treating you well.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.
Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

It's treating me very well. Its grown on me fast.
It worked out good today.
She's a little big and it needs a lower riding pocket clip but it's sold me on getting the combo edge black s30v model. Its way more than I like pay for a knife but I know it's worth it.
Thanks again man. Now all I got to do is get a second job to pay for the knife I want to carry for my stupid job.

I'm liking my new dark blue Manix 2 all the time. It's more comfortable than I expected. Opening and closing was stiff at first, but it is breaking in nicely.

Yes, I was afraid it would fall 15 feet to the concrete below but it hung in there like the champ it is. True love :D
