Certainly not an original mod idea. I am happy finally got it done!

A nice reminder that steel is steel and not magic. S90v is presented in a way that makes it seem 'impossible' to grind and/or finish to the degree that you have. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Close to 40 hours, tight grit progression using wet/dry emery - started with 80 grit, after 2000, same tight grit progression with polishing compound 30u and ended with .5u.

Interesting idea. I thought about rounding that whole area out and filing in some jimping to make a small choil but never did. As for the sharpening notch I just made a very very small one at the end of my edge, it could pass as a small chip if you didn't know better. It works perfectly.
