Tvenuto wins the "help me spend my money"..or maybe it was Kristi. That's nice timing, I'll be getting the forum knife. As long as it's up my alley that is. When the native came out in 2013 I absolutely couldn't afford it, so I'm glad I'll have the cash this time Round!

I haven't regretted my Blueweave Domino once. Although it is really too nice to carry I find myself carrying it more often than many of my users. I can also play with the flipper all day long. Smooth, fast and amazingly well fit and finished.

I would get one of these before some of the others on your list.

You can buy the Domino now and save back up for the GB2 and positron when they come out.

Of the four you listed it's an easy option for me, the GB2. It's one I plan on buying myself, especially at the awesome price point. The Pingo is an instant "no" for me although I do like Elmax. The Positron is cool, I wouldn't mind getting one if I like playing with it :) and the Domino is in my favorite steel but for some reason it doesn't excite me. Get the GB2!

Instead of the Pingo Sprint, I would go for the Squeak Sprint as it has a point.

But, if you can hold off, I think the GB 2 would be a nice choice, as from the photos I have seen, it addresses some of the drawbacks of the first model.

Blue Weave Domino while you can still pick one up...GB 2 when funds permit because it's not an exclusive or a sprint. And the BW Domino is pretty awesome. I don't have any pictures since I added a simple black/blue/silver/white lanyard to mine, but it suits the scale perfectly, and the scale is VERY presentable without anything to begin with.

I hate to make you dribble away you presumably hard earned money, but I don't think I can take advantage of this now, so I'd like to see somebody do it --> redsgear is having a sale with $5 off $50, $15 off $125, $25 off $180, and $35 off $220 and they have 173 models. Also, if you give them your email address, probably one you haven't given them before, you get another $10 off. And it's free shipping to US but I don't know if they'd give you any kind of break to Canada. I think I'll post this on the STP thread too.

Well now that we know what the forum knife will be I'm undecided again. I don't own a native, but that's deliberate. I'm always interested in adding more S90V to my collection. I'm not to excited about maroon, FRN or the native model.

Hmm..decisions decisions.

Maybe I can buy the forum knife, and the standard Black G10 model and do a blade swap.

Thanks SEF! I actually just received my first salt knife today. I think I'll give it some time before getting another salt knife, but that Aqua Salt sure is tempting. Here's a pic:



I am not sure about the forum knife but I might get it. I actually dropped some of my funds on the Schempp Bowie. It wasn't on my radar at all, but Gbelleh's thread made me think twice about it, then Radioactive has his up for a nice price. I figured why not :)

The rest of the funds will probably go to the GB2 or the Positron, whichever comes first. Thanks again for all the input :)

I feel the same way about the Native. I dont mind the maroon much and hope I can snag one just for collection sakes. The rest of my knives are users so I may as well have one to look at.

I really enjoy this forum for the most part. I find a lot of useful information here and enjoy helping other when I can. Most of all I enjoy the artistry of the knives and their designers, as well as the creativity used in the photography of the subjects. I for one think you should buy the forum knife because you sir, are a great contributor of artwork to this forum and to me it just seems like one should belong to you. My 2 cts. Thanks again for your efforts in displaying the beauty of these knives.

Wow Xinam, that's a HUGE compliment and I really appreciate it. We all contribute in our own way and you're right, pictures are my main contribution to this forum. I try my best to do these beautiful knives justice. After your kind words, you've got me thinking I'm doing something right.
