Hello would first of all begin to say thank you to spyderco for helping too saving my life more on that later on.

so i bought a gayle bradley folder from lamnia.com first thought when it arrived was that i had wasted lots of money on a hunk of useless steel. heres why it arrived duller than anything ive ever owned and when i changed pin position one of the screws broke just from trying try untightening it....

so my first impression sucks blade centering was perfect fit and finish perfect too except from lanyard hole that is a little sharp.

contacted lamnia they have ordered new screws. i tok the blade to the stones and **** took forever to make it sharp but now its a whole new blade its a feather stick makers dream.

i have used it aaaaaaa loooot in the forest for making feather sticks shaves making birds nest etc etc and oh my god what a perfect folder couldnt be more impressed and btw i got a real mannly thumb now hehe

couldnt recomend this folder enough

and it have actually saved my life i was in a car accident when my tire blew out on the road lost control went upside down into a river and was stuck and with water flowing in thank god for my bradley in my pocket cut the belt and managed to get out and get help got a dislocated shoulder but survived.

now im just trying to save up for the fixed blade bradley bowie would love that knife in bushcrafting and hey maybe that too will save me someday :P

Glad you survived the crash. Just remember Gibbs rule #9, always have a knife.

Glad you came through it alright.

When I got mine, I had a similar problem with perfect fit and finish, except for the edge. The only CPM M4 I had ever sharpened before was some softer Benchmade stuff - I definitely noticed a hardness difference on the Gayle Bradley. Reprofiling took a bit.

Now that I've got an edge I'm happier with, it's definitely one of my favorite Spydercos. A little on the heavier side but it can handle absolutely anything.

I'm not sure how I feel about the new GB2 that we saw from Amsterdam, though. I like the look of it a lot better, but I'm just not sure that I will like how it works without the finger choil and negative blade angle. We'll see, I guess.
