ZDP-189 Delica

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about this Delica? I got it in trade a few weeks ago and I had planned to round the spine on it and a few other things. After finding a little about it I decides not to. This knife doesn't have a scratch on it, anywhere. Is it OK to ask the estimated value of it?

It is a sprint run Delica from like ten years ago. I think it was the first ZDP Delica. I have no idea what it is worth.

Not really, it sounded like a fair price to me considering it's age and shape.

That knife will always be special to me>> it was the model I got my boss and it turned him into a Spyderco convert immediately and now he owns over 20 quality Spyders.

The one I got him in ZDP-189 was the Green handled one but I think I even like this gray unit a little better. It's a perfect model to use ZDP-189 with. I got the very first Spyder they used ZDP-189 blade steel back about 10 years ago> It was the Burgundy Caly Jr.>> that was an excellent blade as well for ZDP-189. It's no longer my absolute favorite steel but it will probably always be in my top 5 at least for the foreseeable future.

I think it was the first ZDP Delica.

This Delica has also the first solid ZDP-189 blade used in a Spyderco :)

I thought that it was the first Spyderco knife to use ZDP... period.

According to Spydiewiki, the Burgundy/Laminated ZDP CalyJr was a 2005 model and this Delica was 2006.

I believe this was the first run of the delica 4.
