I have always loved the Endura more than any of the other 3 scores of folders that have passed through my hands over the last few years (Never had more than 10 at once though- do a lot of trading!) The thinness and short top to bottom height of the handle always made it open up and move into a cutting grip in my hand better than any other folder, and I loved Spyderco as a company, and the VG-10 steel and backlock. My Endura hasn't left my pocket in years! but I have always wanted a Caly 3.5- sort of a "perfection" of everything I loved about the Endura. Even thinner and slimmer, but with more steel in the handle and G10 scales, a wire clip, choil and leaf blade, VG-10, just a tiny pinch smaller. When it was discontinued this year (as far as I know) I knew I had to get one, and when I found one at a reputable dealer for a good price, I finally ordered her up!
Everything about her is even better than I hoped, and smooth as silk to boot! Slapped a Manix clip on her (I don't really need or prefer deep carry) and I'm a very happy guy. This one is going to be in my pocket for years to come.
