Thanks Mike,
It is good to see a course that acknowledges that there are different knife training needs for law enforcement. I will try to combine a CBC course with a trip home.

I finally got leaf blade a week ago and love it. I actually like the current color but would definitely buy a textured carbon fiber version. Spyderco has really outdone themselves with this knife.

Personally I would prefer the modified Gunting version. You are right that the cost of such knife would be an issue. But then there are many in Public Service that think the cost of the Police model is way too much for a knife.

I am going to have to agree will all that is posted above. Like Spyderholic said my nerves have not yet completely healed and it has been several months. Steel cuts flesh and Spyder steel cuts flesh even better. Please be more careful than I was.

I agree with Clay, your complaint is getting old. I am sure that Spyderco would not send back an Endura that was unsafe. The Endura is a good knife but it sounds likes you want more that a mid range knife. I upgraded from the Endura's and Delica's years ago and haven't carried one ...
