Well... first of all... it probably really doesn't matter what knife you decide to purchase because I doubt it will last very long regardless (with treatment like what you've described! :D ).

Secondly... these type of vauge threads never really end up being very helpful. In general, formites are ...

WOW! nice job with those!

I don't know about the 3M stuff but I think I would steer away from standard skateboard griptape. It has far too much grip (that stuff will eat up your hands in ...

thanks everyone!
i've got a new contender, the g10 delica!
a little pricey, but i figure it could function as a slicer as well as a hard-use knife, and why not go with what you already know and love. (plus calypso jr.'s seem a little difficult to obtain)

thoughts anyone?

just wondering, how does comfort compare between the FRN and the G10? (i.e. do the exposed metal liners dig into your hand when gripping really tightly?)

The Leatherman Juice C2

I would concider it to be the smallest functional (plyers) multitool that Leatherman makes. The plyers are more than strong enough for 99.9% of the tasks you would subject a pair of normal plyers to and the selection of screwdrivers comes in handy for more than just screws ...

Pic Request: Caly Jr. & UKPK

I am looking for a small dependable slicer, a few pics comparing a Calypso Jr. and a UK Pen Knife as well as any other knives that would fit this description would be much appreciated. :)

Have fun, give me your suggestions!

here's a question for you L2D owners......has anyone tried replacing the L2D's battery tube section with the battery section from a L1D, P2D or P3D?

I think it would be really handy to be able to switch between the two sizes (the battery tubes are like 12 bucks).

well, i only carry one or maybe two on a day to day basis (i think this is probably also true for the majority of casual users) . the se cricket is always on me because it is just so easy to throw in the pocket in the morning and leave it there all day.
