We need to give Spyderco a break on the foliage green G10.
I am guessing that they have to buy large amounts of G10 at one time so in order to give us knives in colors they would have to do a few models in that color.
I am hoping that is the case so we will see some other models in orange and maybe someday in silver tweed.

I think "customized versions" is better terminology. Tricod is working off of standard Spyderco models. He's just adding some features, refinements, qualities that gear those models more toward the personal tastes of the owners who commission the work.
