Heh heh, Reading through some of the early threads I'd forgotten how easy it was to double post back then :D

Live and learn.
I was unaware there had been two Spyderco/Terzuola colaberations. When I saw the title of the thread I was thinking Terzuola Starmate and the rumoured upcoming (possibly) smaller Starmite.

Call myself a Spyderco fan ? Shame on me :p

Now lets see someone try that with a full spyder edge blade :rolleyes: :D

Glad to see that I'm not the only person that tops up their morning shave with a Spyderco at work :D

I remember Sal saying the early photos were Photoshop mock ups. I only ask because on most San Mai knives I have seen there is a distinct line that runs down the blade where one steel is ground away to reveal the other.

Two minimum.
A 3" plain edge folder for general tasks ( been a Spyderco Penknife for the last few months ).
The second is a small SAK. Partly for people of a very knife nervious disposition, but mainly for the sissors ( beard trimming ).

Those Jess Horns are absolutely beautiful :)

They are low numbered pieces, so a sure bet they are Collector's Club pieces. Which means there wont be many up for grabs, so be quick if you want one.

Only shipping to Collection Club members so far, not for general sale yet. No word on price yet either, but I know for sure I'll be getting more than one

That's so not cool!!! Hope the Spyderco team change its mind because UK isn't the only country to have very restrictive knife laws... :confused:

Both are great knives.

But I think every one deserves to have, (or at least should be forced to own :p ) a Calypso Jnr :D

Another one for the list, whenever anyone in you vicinity produces a knife you keep pestering them on it's steel properties, including carbon content and Rockwell hardness. Usually matched by bemused looks from the knife's owner ...

As of a month ago, the last we heard was Sept/Oct. So, soon :D

I think the reason Spyderco get so much feedback is that time and again they have proved that they listen.

Also unlike some companies that will blast you for the lightest hint of critism, Spyderco have always welcomed "constructive" critism. I belong to a couple of art orientated online forums and ...

Cost is how much it was to make and ship it to you. Value is how much the average ...
