Endura & Delica, Emerson Opener w/ Spyderedge

Hi gang long time no post,

I'm looking for a present for a friend's wedding and I know he always salivated after an Endura w/ an Emerson opener fully serrated. I know that Spyderco has done away with that model entirely. Can someone point me to a reputable dealer that might still have one on hand ...

The Spyder Crew

The owner of Grindstone Cutlery was on the phone with TazKristy the other day and decided to take a picture to email her. It happens that most of Mike's customers are diehard Spyderco fans and we took the Spyders out of our pockets for a group shot. Each of us had at least two Spyderco knives with ...

My M4 Mule

Made the handles to this under the cruel tutelage of Master Chief Mike Billman of Grindstone Cutlery in Fort Wayne In.
The handles are lexan with a blue wood ply to give it texture. The pins are stainless steel and there rest is a lot of TLC with 240, 400, 600 sandpaper passes and finished with ...

there seems to be a rusting issue w/ the new mule. What other methods are there for preventing this?

As araneae pointed out - this is to be expected. However to answer your question there are several methods that you can take in order to prevent it.

1) Keep it oiled
2) Blueing (like a gun)
3 ...

MT01P 52100 Mule Team - Durability report.

So I finally had an opportunity to truly use my MT01P Mule for something that I know stresses the edge and the steel. Here is what I have found so far.

I have been using my MT01 for piddly stuff here and there but now that the hunting season is here I’m finally able to put this sucker to a real ...

MCM - Nice job with that CF and with mounting that clip. What did you use to get the screws to thread without ripping the CF hole? Did you epoxy a threaded stud or something like that in the holes?

brj - yup that beautiful texture is hidden under the texture! It is unlike any other CF I have ever seen. Take it easy on the sand paper and make sure to keep it very wet and very very light (600+ or higher grit - find some 3000 grit if you can).

Thanks David

I didn't have to send him anything, I live about 30 minutes away and he takes care of my knife addiction issues all the time. This hobby is worst than drugs you know!
I took it to him, he had some time so he did it. The only thing he had to work on was the handle and the clip so I ...

Modified CF Mili

So here are some pics of my modified CF S90V Mili.
Mike @ Grindstone Cutlery took my CF Mily from textured to a smooth finish. He also polished up the clip. This sucker looks and feels great and it makes a **** of a knife to carry when you are dressed up where the original would have been out of ...
